TEACHER'S
Dear students,
Many of you asked me why I was so unhappy; many of you told me that I looked terrible when I was unhappy or angry; many of you said that I made many other people unhappy when I was unhappy. Anyway I am sorry; I am terribly sorry! I don't know what to say; I don't know how to say it; I don't know how much I should say.
Well, this is ME:
1.Every day I have to get up at about six o'clock, get changed in about ten minutes and then rush back to school.
2. I should prepare the teaching materials, mark exercise books, and have my breakfast between seven and eight.
3. I then get up to the TV Room in the hall to read one or two newspapers with a few students and have a little exercise for about ten minutes. (This is the most enjoyable time to me.)
4. I come down to take a roll-call and then start to have classes, normally five to six classes in the morning.
5. Some classes are extremely exhausting because the students are walking all over me, i.e., I cannot make them behave well.
6. From one to one thirty, I try to have a little rest while I was doing the marking.
7. I go up to the staff canteen for ten minutes to have a quick lunch and then I am back again for more marking.
8. I go up to take the afternoon roll-call and quickly come back for some more marking or to read the STSs and write down my words. (This is the second most enjoyable time to me.)
9. On some weekdays I have to rush to theChinese University of Hong Kong to do my assignments in the library or attend classes.
10. When I get back home, I have dinner with my wife and my kids.
11.After dinner, I take my kids out for a good walk.
12. I play with them for a while and then see them to bed.
13. When they are all asleep, I start to write up my STS for the day or do something urgent.
14. Before I go to sleep, I sit on the bed andthink about problems-problems with my students, with my fellow colleagues, with our school, with my kids, with myself, …usually with no solutions. Then I sleep.

· everyday(形容词) life =每天生活
breakfast或 have a drink;也可解作“进行(某活动)”,如:
· have a little discussion
· have a rest
· have a prayer
· make them to behave ×
· make them behaving ×
· make them behave √
· do the shopping
· do the washing
· do the checking
这里的 my words可以用 what I wantto say代替。
单单说After,…
·see her to the airport =送她到机场
·see him out of the school = 送他离开学校
·see them to bed = 看他们上床睡觉
LANGUAGE
The role of experiences & feelings
EXAMPLE
Many of you asked me why I was so unhappy; many of you told me that I looked terrible when I was unhappy or angry; many of you said that I made many other people unhappy when I was unhappy.
EXAMPLE
Every day I have to get up at about six o'clock, get changed in about ten minutes and than rush back to school.
EXAMPLE
I then get up to the TV Room in the hall to read one or two newspapers with a few students and have a little exercise for about ten minutes. (This is the most enjoyable time to me.)
